Dave provides all mahjong sets, tables, racks, and teaching materials. Your library simply provides the current National Mahjong League card for each participant. Program length, session count, and class format can all be customized to fit your library's programming calendar and community needs.

Dave started playing American Mahjong and fell in love with the combination of strategy, social connection, and the simple joy of getting people around a table. What began as a hobby turned into something bigger when he started teaching and realized how many people were looking for exactly this kind of experience.
Now an official instructor with the Beverly Recreation Department and a partner in the Beverly 400 celebration, Dave is building a local mahjong community from the ground up. His teaching style is patient, hands-on, and designed to get you playing as fast as possible.
