The AI-Native Creative

A human exhibit featuring frontier technology.

GENERATION at night: the storefront lit, the sign reading GENERATION by Erich Archer, visitors inside and the doors open to the sidewalk.
GENERATION. Boston AI Week, September 24 to October 2.

Hi, Erich here.

I have questions.

What is AI changing about being human, and what are we supposed to do about it?

What happens to memory when we can reconstruct it? To creativity when generation is abundant? To expertise when anyone can access capability? What happens to photography when a generated image can compete with a photograph, to knowledge when millions of datasets become conversational, to work when the computer can type, calculate, research, organize, and build? And what happens to judgment when the AI can give us infinite options?

I’m producing an exhibit that explores these ideas and I’m looking for a few strategic partners to help me make it happen.

The DIRECT exhibit: a director’s chair in front of a generating screen.
DIRECT. The last station of the walk.
The Rufus exhibit: the film playing above the case with the research and the two photographs.

Inside GENERATION: visitors at stations, films playing, work hung on the walls.

The Program
I will be there all week, working in public.

Walk in and ask me how all of it was made and I will show you. We will record podcasts live in the exhibit, and run talks and mixers through the week. Boston AI Week drew 15,000+ participants across 125+ events in 2025, and the festival’s stated goal for 2026 is to double it.

Come hang.

The Ask

I’m looking for three founding partners.

Three founding partners make it happen. One seat is $3,500. A founding partner gets: your company’s name on every printed piece in the exhibit, placement in the ad campaign, your name on the storefront, invitations to opening night and every event through the year, and a founding credit that stays with the show in every city after Boston.

Inside the exhibit: framed works and project walls down a gallery hall, with the headline: Your name on this exhibit. A founding partner gets your company's name on every printed piece, placement in the ad campaign, your name on the storefront, invitations to opening night and every event through the year, and a founding credit that stays with the show in every city after Boston. One seat, 3,500 dollars, three exist. The guarantee: if the show doesn't run, full refund; if you're not happy, your seat rolls into the next edition free.
The campaign: Founding Partner, YOUR COMPANY, GENERATION.
The list: an admit-one ticket with YOUR COMPANY on it, opening night and partner night.
The credit: Founding Partner, YOUR COMPANY, GENERATION 2026.
The guarantee
If the show doesn’t run, full refund. If you’re not happy with what you got, your seat in the next edition is free.

And if you’re not the partner but you know the person who is, forwarding this email is a real contribution. So is showing up in September.
